Consumer and Community Resources

CUAC works with community agencies to gain an understanding of consumers’ experiences and views on electricity, gas and water. In particular, CUAC travels regularly to different rural and regional Victorian communities to develop its knowledge of local issues and concerns.

CUAC also assists other organisations to build consumers’ energy and water literacy and to support informed consumer participation in the market. We offer small grants to community organisations to support research and advocacy projects on utilities issues. From time to time we host forums and other events on consumer utilities issues. We also produce a newsletter for stakeholders and interested parties, POWER+WATER.
